GOD
EPHESIANS
6:10-19
FINALLY MY
BRETHERN, BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT. PUT ON THE
WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD, THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE
DEVIL. FOR WE DO NOT WRESTLE AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST
PRINCIPATLITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS AGE,
AGAINST SPIRITUAL HOSTS OF WICKEDNESS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES. THEREFORE
TAKE UP THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD, THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND IN THE EVIL
DAY, AND HAVING DONE ALL TO STAND. STAND THERFORE HAVING GIRDED YOUR WAIST
WITH TRUTH, HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND HAVING SHOD YOUR
FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE. ABOVE ALL TAKING THE
SHIELD OF FAITH, WHICH YOU WILL BE ABLE TO QUENCH ALL THE FIERY DARTS OF THE
WICKED ONE. AND TAKE THE HELMET OF SALVATION AND THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT,
WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD. PRAYING ALWAYS WITH ALL PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION
IN THE SPIRIT, BEING WATCHFUL TO THIS END WITH ALL PERSEVERANCE AND SUPPLICATION
FOR ALL THE SAINTS. AND FOR ME THAT UTTERANCE MAY BE GIVEN TO ME, THAT I
MAY OPEN MY MOUTH BOLDLY TO MAKE KNOWN THE MYSTERY OF THE
GOSPEL.
THE PIECES
OF ARMOR
TO WEAR
1.
THE BELT OF TRUTH - John 8:32 tells us that who
God sets free, is free indeed. We need to practice the
truth that Jesus said would set us free,
and oppose
anything that comes against any part of the
word of God. In other words, we
are to look
at God's
word, as the final word, and it
is
not to be compromised in any way.
2.
THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS -
Proverbs
4:23 tells us to keep our hearts,
with all
diligence for out of it springs the issues of
life.
We are to keep our hearts pure before
God,
so we need to
protect our
hearts. Out of
it
stems the center of our being in who we are in
emotions, thoughts, motives and actions.
For Example, if unforgiveness is
in our heart, bitterness will
develop.
That is why it is
important,
to forgive, so we can have the
fellowship with God, in communion, and prayer. He
provides
the breastplate of HIS
RIGHTEOUSNESS, because of what his son did on Calvary. He knows
that the
enemy will try to deceive us into sin, so he allows us to
cover ourselves with his righteousness, and not
our filthy rags we claim as goodness. See Isaiah
64:6

SHOES MADE FROM THE GOSPEL OF THE PEACE OF GOD -
Romans 5:1 being justified by faith, we have
peace with God through Jesus
Christ.
These
shoes will carry us through the
worst
battles, trials and
hardships. We can even walk
through fire,
and be not
consumed.
As it says
in Isaiah 43:2, because he
is with us, through Jesus
Christ.
Remember, his word, is a lamp
unto our
feet and a light unto our
path.

THE SHIELD OF FAITH - Psalms 34:20 OUR SOUL WAITETH
FOR THE LORD:
HE IS OUR
HELP AND OUR SHIELD.
The faith,
that first brought us to Christ, believing for forgiveness from our sins,
is now manifested into fruit. The
fruit
of
our faith, is manifested, where now we
can
trust in God, for daily
assistance, and
provision.
If we fail to hold up our shield of faith,
we may doubt who we are in Christ,
and may have fear this
will
cause us not to believe in miracles.
When we daily, hold our shield his gift up
on high, in
Trust believing him this pleases God.
Remember what he says in
Hebrews 11:6 but
without
faith, it is impossible to please him,
for he who
comes to God must believe,
that he
is, and he is
a rewarder of those who diligently seek
him.
5.
THE HELMET OF SALVATION -
This
Helmet or head gear protects our minds, and will teach us as
we grow in God daily. It guards us
from
making foolish decisions,
and
keeps us in tune, to where
he has appointed us. Thereby,
receiving,
the mind
of Christ. I Corinthians 2:16 tells us,
For who
has known the
mind of the
Lord that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.
The Holy
spirit, will teach us, but
the natural man, without a helmet
will not receive the things of God, because they
are foolishness to him. I
Corinthians 2:14

THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT -
Take the
word of God in your hand,
and rebuke
the enemy by the
word of God. Just as
Jesus did,
when he
spoke to the evil one, and said "IT IS WRITTEN, MAN
SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE, BUT BY
EVERY WORD OF GOD.
" God wants us to chew it, digest it, and
experience it in the deepest part
of our being. Remember,
what God says, we are created
in his image,
so, when he speaks the word, it prospers in that thing, he
sent it to. It will
prosper, for you also, when
you speak, HIS WORD and send it to your situation or
problem.
7. PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT -
In full submission to God, yielding
to the Holy Spirit, allowing
God
to take control of your tongue,
when you pray.
I
Corinthians 14, tells us about speaking in
tongues, letting only God
understand, what
you are
praying. The Bible also tells us that
the Holy spirit, intercedes for
us, when we don't know what to pray for. Romans
8:26. The key, is to come to God, in Thanksgiving, and
praise.
That will get you in his gates. Psalms
100:4
From, that point, you can be in
that
secret
place, of Psalms 91:1, and he will cover you.
Your prayers, will be
heard.
I Timothy 4:5 For every creature
of God is good, and nothing
to
be refused if it is
received with THANKSGIVING
by
those who believe, and know the truth. For
it is sanctified by the word
of God and Prayer.
8. BEING WATCHFUL WITH ALL
PERSEVERANCE AND SUPPLICATION
- with your armor on, and you have
taken authority watch God
work. But, do not lose sight of the battle. I Peter
4:7 tells us,
But the end of
all things is at hand, be
ye
therefore sober and watch unto prayer.
I Peter 5:7 tells us be sober, be vigilant
because your advesary the devil
as a roaring
lion walks about seeking who
he may devourer. So Watch
and pray.
9. OPEN YOUR MOUTH BOLDLY,
WITH UTTERANCE TO MAKE KNOWN THE GOSPEL - Speak God's word, and
truth into the situation and then when
you have done all you can, wait on the Lord, The Battle is the
Lords, I Samuel 17:47, stand waiting, resting in the Lord.
Psalms 37:7 He will make a victory, for a
testimony for
his name sake. In
all things acknowledge him, and he shall direct your
way....
Proverbs 3:6. In
conclusion, remember these
things. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world.
And this is the victory
that overcomes the
world our faith. Also remember,
from Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of
the whole
matter.
Fear God and keep
his commandments....
for
this is the duty of every person....
