PRAYER Rx --- March 12
Dear Lord, how we must grieve You, as a nation and as individuals. Let us count the ways: we have changed Your Word to fit our desires; we have stood by while others demean You in art, film and TV; we have remained silent while our children have been taught humanism and the occult, without demanding their freedom to learn Your influence on history; we have ignored the infiltration of New Age philosophies in our churches and seminaries; we have turned to other gods; and we have allowed our unborn to be aborted. ... Could it be that we ourselves are the obstacles to the peace for which we so desperately pray? Lord, let Your Holy Spirit convince me of my errors and teach me how to pray, lest my silence and inaction give consent to those who seek to demean both Your teachings and Christians everywhere.
