Preacher's Como Rendevous Site
This site is designed to inform folks about the Como Rendezvous in particular and Rocky Mountain rendezvous in general. As such, it is mostly about people. In spite of all the historians, shooters, throwers, sewers, woodworkers, and all the other activites that are so prevelant at todays modern rendezvous reenactments, it is ultimately about the people.
We have tripled our previous year activity to over 100 so i rekon i'll try to keep this going. i'm still trying to find a way to seperate the photo gallerys into some kind of organized affair, like photos from year to year but so far no luck.
We can't thank David Hale and the Hartsel Springs Ranch enough. They have provided a beautiful site for us for the last four years. However, it is my understanding that the lots on either side of our current site have been sold. Neither of these lot owners welcome our presence as does the owner of the two lots we currently use. So although Hartsel Springs Ranch has said to Perfesser and Hoss that we will have a site next year, i'm gonna hedge that bet and look for a site in the San Isabel. I am assisted by Stacker, Screaming Eagle, Woodman and any others interested.
