Among the Uncleared Hills

Before me, near
Thrown alone in the waste of fear
See my untimely destiny
In the hills tinted unclear

Winds scream alive
Years erode on the mountain side
Siren sounds try to fool my ear
Violent skies cause to remind

I strain to walk
My shadow follows
A taunting dew bore the reflection, all I feel is what it told
Sunless ahead
My day's behind me
Wading with elders of decrepit trees in darkness of despair
Trying not to breathe
Actions that calumniate my being

We find the constraints too real
This sentence that the fugue can't appeal

Not a light in the starless sky
Underneath the aloof benign
