Reverend Haggett has been nationally recommended for over 18 years by the couples he marries to perform and bless: Interfaith and Spiritual Weddings, Religious and Civil Ceremonies, Holy Unions, Renewal of Vows, and Services in the Roman Catholic Tradition.
Mission
To serve couples to create not only the greatest wedding event, but also to provide them with a preparation for marriage experience as the foundation for a life long journey together and a future they love.
To work with couples to produce a wedding ceremony that expresses who they are and also honors their family, friends and guests and leaves them moved, touched, and inspired by the whole experience.
“Father Bob” lives with his wife, Lis Haggett, in Lewes, Delaware. They share between them five children and nine grandchildren. Educated and ordained as a Roman Catholic priest, he left the active ministry after fifteen years to marry and raise a family. However, "Once a priest, always a priest." Spent twenty years with a major insurance company as a Development Manager successfully training and developing people to start and grow businesses in the financial services industry, until his retirement. He has taught courses, which he developed, at the Southern Delaware Academy for Lifelong Learning, such as “The Science and Practice of Making a Difference” to empower his students to be effective agents of change. He volunteers with his wife in the Holiday Project, visiting institutionalized people on Christmas and other holidays. His experiences and background serve him well as a Marriage Officiator.
Lis Haggett partners with her husband in the couples' wedding preparation meetings, and supports him during rehearsals and ceremonies. Her background is in visual design and display, and she has completed a workshop in wedding design. She and Bob were the original couple in Delaware for the Couples Coaching Couples organization. She is a great supporter for brides and the entire wedding party. She provides a nurturing, loving presence.
