R 7, T 14N, S 14, was in Monroe Twp, Harrison Co., Ohio. He was still in Monroe Twp, in 1840 listed as Suffory Battleme. In 1850, Safary was living in German Twp., Holmes Co., Ohio and working as a laborer. In 1860, Safora was a farmer living in Harrison Twp., Clay Co., Indiana. Samuel Vertner), Jacob (dec.) and his son Peter, and John's dtrs. Anne (Mrs. Bebbers) Williams and Susan (Mrs. Robert) Allison. Segundy (Cegundy, Segunda) Bartholomew (Bottlemy, Bollemozd) and John Nevel had the following children:

  John Bartholomew was married to Elizabeth Hite (daughter of Daniel Hite and Catherine Ickes) on May 12, 1842 in New Philadelphia, Tuscawaras Co, OH. They were married at the Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church by Rev. Greenwald. J.W. English was J.P. Elizabeth Hite was born in 1819 in St. Clair Twp., Bedford Co., PA. She died on December 4, 1880 in Maysville, DeKalb Co., MO. In 1839, she was living in Goshen Twp., Tuscarawas Co., OH. By 1850, she had moved to Chester Twp., Wayne Co., OH where she lived with John and family near the family of Jacob Ickes (1801-1866), who was almost certainly a brother of Elizabeth's mother, Catherine (Ickes) Hite. She and John later moved to Findlay, Hancock Co., OH where John died. In 1856, Elizabeth returned to Mill Twp., Tuscarawas Co., OH. Then, in December 1866, she moved to Maysville, DeKalb Co., MO along with her son and two of her daughters. Her son Simon supported her until his death in 1868 and then she earned a living by washing clothes for neighbors who would employ her. She also received a pension for Simon's service. John Bartholomew (Bartholow) and Elizabeth Hite had the following children:
  (A) Louisa (Louvina) Bartholomew (born in 1844).
  (B) Catherine Bartholomew (born in 1847).
  (C) Rebecca Bartholomew was born in 1848 in Chester Twp., Wayne Co., OH. In 1850, she was living in Chester Twp., Wayne Co., OH. In 1860, she was living in Mill Twp., Tuscarawas Co., OH. In 1870, she was living in Warwick Twp., Tuscarawas Co., OH. Sometime after that, she moved to Maysville, DeKalb Co., MO. In 1900, she was still single and living in Maysville, working as a dress maker.

Tipton He was married to Elizabeth Bair (Bare) on April 27, 1836 in Carroll Co., OH. Marriage was by Joseph Walters, J.P.-Perry Twp. Elizabeth Bair (Bare) was born on June 9, 1815 in OH. She died on July 14, 1899 in Cedar County, IA. She was buried in Woodbridge Cemetery, Cedar Co., Iowa. In 1840 and 1850, she was living in Congress Twp., Wayne Co., OH. In 1860, she was living in Cass Twp., Cedar Co., Iowa, and, according to Pension Records, was listed as an Aunt, by marriage, to John and Caroline. Elizabeth was a witness to the birth of at least one of John's children. In 1870, she was living in Cass Twp., Cedar Co., Iowa. She was listed as being born in Ohio. In 1880, she was living in Cass Twp., Cedar Co., Iowa. She was listed as being born in Ohio, her parents in PA. Her maiden name of Bair comes from Jacob's Death Record. Blasirus (Boaz, Booth) Bartholomew (Bottlemy) and Elizabeth Bair (Bare) had the following child:

They were married by James Finton, J.P. Peter A. Wolf(e) was born on May 14, 1814 in Pitt Twp., Allegheny Co., PA. He died on April 18, 1884 in Liberty Twp., Keokuk Co., Iowa. He was buried in Brethern Cemetery, Liberty Twp., Keokuk Co., Iowa. Wolf Family found info on Anna's death certificate. She died May 2, 1906 in S. English Twp., Keokuk Co., Iowa. She was buried in the Brethern Cemetery, Liberty Twp., Keokuk Co., Iowa. In 1820 and 1830, she was living in One Leg Twp., Tuscarawas Co., OH. She was living in Stokes Twp., Logan Co., OH, sometime after land was purchased on 2/15/1836. In 1840, she was living in Stokes Twp., Logan Co., OH. They sold in 1849 and moved to Roundhead Twp., Hardin Co., OH. In 1850, they were living in Buckhead Twp., Hardin Co. They sold out and moved to Liberty Twp., Keokuk Co., Iowa in 1854. In 1884, she was living in South English, Iowa. In 1900, she was living with her son Jerry in English River Twp., Keokuk Co., Iowa. She remained there until her death. [In 1850, the family was living in the household of Josiah Polly, Jr. and his wife, Pheobe S. Arnold.
