Using Csound to Create a Sample Based Microtonal Orchestra

The way I use Csound is very specialized to the creation of microtonal orchestras of conventional instruments. I have been doing this for a few years and have developed some interesting methods of using, modifying, and altering conventional instruments for special effects. For more information on how the .csd files above work, see my article on Using Csound to Create a Sample Based Microtonal Orchestra.

Programs

SAMPLES, which takes the macro code and creates Csound .csd files is described here.

Lily (lily.exe) takes some internal files used in SAMPLES, and generates a LilyPond input file. LilyPond in turn creates "engraving quality" notation. Any less than superior results are due to the inadequacy of my programming, not LilyPond. When it works well, it creates .pdf files that look like this: samples.pdf . A sample is shown below for six trombones.
