1. As Yusuke is getting up from Jin’s attack, the blood from his lip is removed
2. Yusuke’s thinking “Dammit! I’m flopping around like a windmill and he barely scratched me.” changed to “I’m flopping around like a windmill and he barely scratched me.” After Jin attacks him with his Tornado Fist.
3. During the conversation between Butajiri and Sakyo, Sakyo’s cigarette is removed and scenes where he’s actively smoking replaced.
4. Yusuke’s “And there’s my chance going airborne, damn it!” changed to “And there’s my chance going airborne, darn it” after missing his folowup punch because Jin took to the air, out of Yusuke’s reach.
5. Kuwabara’s “Hey, what is this?! How’s Urameshi supposed to have a fair fight if Jin can run where ever he wants!” changed to “What a bunch of crud! How’s Yusuke supposed to have a fair fight if Jin can run where ever he wants” (why?)
6. Butajiri’s “Jin! Move, damn it!” changed to “Jin! Move, darn it!” yelling at Jin to avoid Yusuke’s Spirit Gun.
7. Fan’s “Good. I’ve been waiting too damn long to see that boy get put in his place!” changed to “Good. I’ve been waiting too darn long to see that boy get put in his place!”
8. In the scene with Shizuru and Kayko, Shizuru’s cigarette is removed. And her arm is moved to a more natural position (for some one not smoking that is).
9. Boton’s “So how in the flip is he supposed to hit him??” changed to “So how in the world is he supposed to hit him??” to Kuwabara. (another one?)
10. Yusuke’s “Let’s see who can take a bigger ass-kicking.” changed to “Let’s see who can take a bigger beating.” Just before he fires his Spirit Gun into Jin’s Tornado Fist.
11. After Yusuke fire his Spirit Gun into Jin’s Tornado Fist. The scene showing the medical tent (with Ruka in front of it) – CUT. (not surprising, it probably saved them from doing some CG editing on Ruka’s outfit)
12. Yusuke’s “Oh, hell.” changed to “The pain.” As he recovers
13. Jin’s “The hell was that? You don’t make bombs go boom in your face!” changed to “The heck was that? You don’t make bombs go boom in your face!”
14. Yusuke’s “Damn- At least one of us should’ve died!” changed to “What- At least one of us should’ve died!”
15. In the scene where Yusuke and Hiei are talking. Ruka’s outfit gets some extra bands to cover her cleavage.
16. Butajiri’s “He can stand upside down with his thumb up his ass for all I care.” changed to “He can stand upside down with his thumb up his nose for all I care.” Talking about Yusuke’s chances against Jin’s double Tornado Fists.
Well, I had a good feeling for this episode. It was turning out to be a fairly light, editing wise. They even left in the close-up of Yusuke punching Jin in the gut (They edited out a similar scene in the fight between Yusuke and Bakken). And then boom… they edit one of Kuwabara’s lines (Edit #5), there was nothing offensive said. Then we have one of Boton’s line edit (Edit #9), but admittedly this line sounds better than the original. The idea behind these confusing edits is that “Maybe” their trying to keep me on my toes… See if I’m awake… See if I can catch the little edits… Or maybe they did it because they thought the new lines flowed better.
(I know, I know, these edits where done well before I even started this list. But it’s more fun taking it as a challenge from Funimation and Toonami to find everything that was cut out.)
