Pro Watermaker uses Dow Filmtec Membranes exclusively. We have found this seawater membrane to be the longest lasting, best producing membrane manufactued today. These membranes cost a bit more, but out perform all other membranes, saving time and energy.
Using Dow Filmtec membranes the PRO Waternaker will produce very high quality drinking water with TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of close to 250 PPM (Parts Per Million). Compare that to ordinary tap water up to 500 PPM.
