Year 2001 is fast approaching and we need to start our planing. I have talked to Carol Piatz and Pat Schwab (my son) about it and they agree we need to start. The Octoberfest hall in Mt.Angel has already been reserved for the middle of August. I need to start the updates on the Family Genealogy for the new family book.

Pat has agreed to chair the reunion this time. He has worked and worked hard on every reunion starting with 1977.

This is the passing of the torch to the next generation. With this in mind I would like each of the above to send someone of the next generation to come to the meeting. If it is all possible we would like someone from each of the five families. >From the John, Adolph, Fred, Mary Ann and Pauline families.

We will be having some German family members coming to this reunion so we need to do the best job we know how.

I realize some people do not have e-mail (like Larry Schwab) so if someone would let them know that would be great.

I will be leaving town Tuesday for two to three weeks so I will be off line.
