Handweaver's Guild of America/Interweave Press Teach-It-Forward Grant:
This grant is made possible by the generous donation of the Interweave Press to an established teacher. Recently established this grant is available to HGA members and will assist teachers who focus on beginning weavers or spinners. It is available to those who teach weaving or spinning in a private studio, shop, or school who are bringing new people to the craft and who have an innovative plan or proposal.
The 2004 Teach It Forward Grant was used to purchase an 8 Harness
45" Nilus Leclerc Colonial Loom to be used at the Beth Sholom Weaving
Room. The additional loom will enable an expansion of the Tallit weaving program
and allow the development of other Judaic textile projects.
