Pete Tallman Newspaper Clipping |
|
This newspaper clipping from Barbara Hyde’s gardening column suggests growing Lingonberry plants in a bale of peat moss. (Her weekly column was headed “Now is the time...” and proceeded to describe the gardening recommendations for the week.)
Shortly after this column appeared in the Daily Camera, a nursery catalog arrived in the mail offering Lingonberries and suggesting Lingonberries could be grown the same as blueberries.
Inverting the logic led to trying to grow blueberry bushes in bales of peat moss. |
