Small Lights

Small lights -- Sometimes, you just want to highlight a small prop and you don't want a blaring big spot light or floodlight on it. Unfortunately, there just aren't readily available 30 watt floodlights made for outdoor use.

My solution is to use C7 white Christmas lights. You can buy these cheap after Christmas and get them in a string of 25. You'll need to cut off just one of the sockets to use (with the power off!) and make a little rig to hid the bulb. I use PVC elbows to do this and tie wrap the socket and then the bulb in the piping.

Another solution is to use LED spotlights for lighting a gravestone, for example. Links for this:
