[2005-11-20 13:37:01] ![]() We arrived in Boracay. The beach was just like what we saw in pictures. It was so amazing!
![]() The boat can't dock near the land, so we had to wade through the water. If ever you're going to Boracay, I suggest slippers and shorts, and keep valuables like cameras, cellphones and wallets in a plastic bag. The water can get waist-high.
![]() The sea was aqua green. My stress just went away :)
![]() The beach is white!
![]() Boracay has three stations: Stations 1, 2 and 3. We got off at Station 2.
![]() The water was calm and there wasn't much current.
![]() We were so excited to see Boracay.

[2005-12-08 07:35:21] ![]() This boat is like the boat we rode to get to Boracay. For this shot, I had to move the camera parallel to the water without getting it wet. And it's around six in the morning. Everything is so peaceful.
![]() The Boracay Regency Hotel is an excellent hotel.
![]() The honeymoon suite has a four-poster bed, and the interiors are inspired by tropical design.
![]() The sun is about to set, and I'm still taking pictures :) For this picture, I moved the camera very close to the water. I had to be careful not to get it wet.

[2005-12-08 07:36:40] ![]() In the morning, there's people on the beach. They're mostly locals. And there was a breeze. It was so pleasant.
![]() My Mom and I created this sandcastle. We woke up early so that the sun won't burn our skin. She did the cone shape on the right, while I created the cluster of hills that looks like a grape on the left. We had fun doing it, and the sand was really nice to play with. We also learned that there's a ratio of sand and water to keep the sand castle strong. We were joking that the cave in the grape mountain is where a wanted criminal hides :) |

[2005-11-20 13:38:50] ![]() We also went snorkelling in the middle of the sea. It was deep, and my feet couldn't touch the sea bed. Well, it's actually corals down there. Our captain played lively music while we were snorkelling. And the first track was this song that goes "maya hi, maya ho" :) I love it! From now on, everytime I hear that song, I'll remember Boracay :) Also, one of us lost her denture here!!! It's so funny :)
![]() We took a boat ride around the island, and we were supposed to go to this cave called "Crystal Cave". There are stalagmites and stalactites there. But we didn't go because the water current was strong and our boat can get swept away of if docked there.
![]() There are places in Boracay that are still pristine.
![]() Boracay was first discovered in Puka Beach. The sand is made of bits of white coral, which are very coarse. Care must be taken when walking.
![]() Puka beach is a secluded area in Boracay.
![]() Puka beach is a sight to behold, and heaven to experience
![]() Whoever thought of having an orange sail is briliant
![]() The water was so clear, and there were just another group of 3 people aside from us who were there in Puka Beach
![]() We saw this starfish, which is proof of how uninhabited Puka beach is. We just left it alone, though. Survival of the fittest :)
![]() We also went to Panoly Beach. The sand there is really fine! It was like baby powder, but grains of sand :) It's amazing :)
![]() Going to Boracay was worth it :)
![]() Tourists arrive in Boracay via a boat, and they have to walk through the water to get to dry land
![]() The sky, the sand and the sun! Boracay is heaven on earth
![]() The Boracay Regency Hotel has bright lights that higlight the edges of the building at night. |

[2005-11-18 17:42:20] ![]() There's a place in Boracay where it's like Manila, with a lot of shops and boutiques. |
||||||
[2005-12-05 14:39:37] ![]() I haven't really experienced the night life in Boracay. But I'm sure it's fun.
