These are the 40 international marine signal flags. There
are 26 letters, 10 numerals, 3 repeaters, and the answering
pennant. They are in .gif format (thanks, Compuserve) and
zipped (thanks, PK). To know what they mean and how they
are used you will need PUB102 from the US Gov't Printing Office
(thanks, gov). The .gifs themselves are courtesy of Jim Croft
and the Australian National Botanical Gardens web-server
(special thanks, Jim and ANBG).
