09/12/2009 - Cool video of Rachel posted to YouTube. JimmyG Productions saw her win the Super Pro race in Albuquerque on 8/8/09 and decided to create a video that highlighted Rachel's move from Jr. Dragsters to full size dragsters. Click here to see the video.

09/07/2009 - A big weekend of racing over Labor Day. The Super Pro race on 9/5/09 was rained out. However two sessions of Quick 8 qualifying were completed with Rachel ending up 4th at a 7.99 ET. On 9/6/09 Rachel raced in both the Quick 8 and Super Pro. In Quick 8 she made it to the semi-finals before losing with a .004 break out. In Super Pro she went 4 rounds to the quarter-finals. 8/10/09 - Rachel wins Super Pro at Albuquerque Dragway on 8/8/09. This is her first win in a "big" car. Click here for the press release.


6/22/09 - National Dragster ran a nice item in the 6/19/2009 "Bits from the Pits" highlighting Rachel's Super Comp license.

6/21/2009 - Rachel competed at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Event at Bandimere Speedway in Denver. Prior to this event, Rachel had only driven her dragster in a "pro" tree event one time (6/12/09 in Albuquerque). During time trials Rachel had put together a number of runs that were within a few hundreths of the 9.50 index with reaction times between .005 and .030. Her first round opponent was Terry Sullivan, a former national event winner from Richardson, TX. Rachel took a slight reaction time advantage (.015 to .018) and ran a 9.504 to take the win light by a close .009 second margin. This performance qualified her #2 out of the first round winners (Click here for the complete qualifying list on Drag Race Central). Unfortunately, Rachel red-lighted in round 2. It was an exciting and fun weekend that will have us looking for more opportunities to run divisional races in the future.

4/25/2009 - Rachel earns her NHRA Super Comp license with a best elapsd time of 8.77 seconds at 162 MPH.

4/19/2009 - Rachel goes to the 3rd round at Albuquerque Dragway's second race of the season.

3/29/2009 - Rachel competes in her first "big" car race, driving her Undercover dragster to a 2nd round finish at Albuquerque Dragway's season opener.

3/21/2009 - Rachel got to drive her new Undercover dragster for the first time in Albuquerque. She made 7 runs that were each progressively faster. The car ran perfectly and Rachel did a great job!

2/7/2009 - Rachel's new dragster was on display at the "Custom Automotive Supernationals" last weekend. The car won first place in the "Open Competition" class and was awarded "Best Competition Car of the Show".


11/9/2008 - Rachel faced off with points leader Christopher Skinner in Round 2. The points championship came down to this round. Whichever driver wins the round, wins the championship. Rachel red lighted by a heartbreaking .001 to give the win to a very deserving Skinner. These two drivers dominated the season, each taking 4 event wins out of the 15 race season. 9/20/2008 - Although she just missed winning her 4th consecutive event, Rachel Greenberg did make it to her 4th consecutive final round. Although she lost in the final, she retained the lead in the points championship - click here for current season results

8/31/2008 - Defending 2007 Points Champion Rachel Greenberg WINS! her third and fourth races of the season by sweeping both days of the Labor Day weekend shootout in Albuquerque. She has now won three consecutive races and leads the track points championship. To top off the weekend she placed second in the "Dash for Cash" to add a bit of cash to the program - click here for current season results

8/2/2008 - Rachel Greenberg WINS! her second race of the 2008 season. Both car and driver were very consistent in taking the event win - click here for current season results


7/26/2008 - Rachel and her team spent 6 straight days at Bandimere Speedway at the NHRA Western Conference Finals. In addition to the Outlaw 330 race (see below), she competed in the Western Conference Finals as a representative of Albuquerque National Dragway. She ran within .006 of her dial-in to win 1st round, but lost a close 2nd round race. Rachel also was a first round runner-up in the JR Race Cars Mile High Shootout on 7/23/08 that was run as a preliminary race - click here for current season results

7/22/2008 - Rachel was given the opportunity to drive the Skinner family's Outlaw 330 Jr. Dragster at the Wicked West Coast 330 Mountain Thunder event held in conjunction with the NHRA Western Conference Finals at Bandimere Speedway in Denver. The Outlaw 330 program is a heads-up, pro tree, no break-out event. The #1 qualifier ran the 330' distance in an elapsed time of 4.60. Rachel qualified 22nd at 4.79 and lost 1st round. This was her first competitive outing on a pro tree and she ripped off reaction times between .05 and .08 in the 3 qualifying sessions and first round competition. - click here for current season results


7/4/2008 - Defending 2007 Points Champion Rachel Greenberg WINS! her first race of the 2008 season. She wins all 4 rounds of competition with reaction times between .01 and .03 - click here for current season results

4/13/2008 - Rachel Greenberg makes it to the 4th and final round at Albuquerque National Dragway to get a Runner-up finish - click here for current season results

02/23/08 - Rachel Greenberg is awarded her 2007 Season Championship trophy and jacket at the Year-end Banquet - click here for pictures

02/23/08 - Rachel Greenberg displayed her Junior Dragster in a very unique fashion in the Amsoil booth at the 2008 Supernationals - click here for pictures of her dragster launching for the moon!

10/28/07 - Rachel Greenberg WINS the Albuquerque National Dragway points championship! She lost in the 2nd round but this was enough to clinch the title. In only her 2nd season of Junior Dragster competition, Rachel put together a great season with 6 event wins and a 72% round win percentage.

10/07/07 - Rachel Greenberg WINS her 6th event of the 2007 season at Albuquerque on Oct. 7!!!. This is her 3rd win in a row and 4th win out of the last 5 races. This spectacular performance vaulted Rachel into the Albuquerque National Dragway season points championship lead and also into the points lead in the SW Drag Racing association season points championship.

09/22/07 - Rachel Greenberg WINS her 5th event of the 2007 season at Albuquerque on Sept. 22. This is her 2nd win in a row, 3rd win out of the last 4 races and 5th win of the season. Rachel closed the gap some more, but remains in 2nd place in the Albuquerque National Dragway season points championship and 2nd place in the SW Drag Racing association season points championship.

09/02/07 - Rachel Greenberg WINS her 4th event of the 2007 season at Albuquerque on Sept. 2. She also qualified #1 for the 2nd time this year. Rachel red lighted 2nd round on Sept. 1. Rachel is currently in 2nd place in the Albuquerque National Dragway season points championship and 2nd place in the SW Drag Racing association season points championship.

08/12/07 - Rachel was one of the featured drivers in Accent Albuquerque Magazine's feature story about women in drag racing. Accent Albuquerque is a local non-racing magazine that has a very wide circulation - click here to see the article (Rachel is in the front row, far left of the cover photo.

08/12/07 - Rachel Greenberg WINS her 3rd event of the 2007 season at Albuquerque on Aug. 11. She had a bit of a dry spell with first round losses at the NHRA Western Conference Jr. Dragster Finals and the Mile High Shootout (both at Bandimere Speedway in July). Rachel's results are posted through 8/11/07.

06/12/07 - Rachel Greenberg goes to her 3rd final round in the last 4 races and posts a Runner-up finish. Rachel's results are posted through 6/9/07.

06/01/07 - Rachel Greenberg takes her second straight WIN of the year on 5/25/07. She then loses a close second round race on 5/26/07. Rachel's results are posted through 5/26/07.
