My Parents

I owe everything to them. They raised me to become the person I am today. They have supported me all my life. I am very thankful for that. They also covered all the bills and paid for all my stuff, which is especially important seeing as how I don't have a job ;-).

Eric

I only met him 2 years ago in 9th grade, but he has become one of my best friends. We play Starcraft a lot (maybe too much) and he invites me over to his house pretty often to play Smash Bros. (LOVE THAT GAME!!), making my boring summer just a little more interesting.

Alexis

Another one of my best friends. I've known him since 2nd grade. He got a cable modem awhile back, instilling a healthy dose of the "Damnit, he has it, now I gotta get it, too" syndrome into me.

David

Aaaah, the Quake king (Action Quake, actually). Another cable modem user. He has two computers hooked up to it, allowing him and his brother to play Quake with pings of like 15. The "Damnit, he has it, now I gotta get it, too" syndrome? Double, no triple that.

Aaron

Mr. "I have everything . . well, almost (runs to the store), Now I do!!" ;-D (Still doesn't have a cable modem - Double ;-D). Known him since the 5th grade. He burned those SNES CDs for me, freeing up space on some of my Jaz disks. Thanks a bunch, man.

Snesmerism

One of the greatest SNES roms sites ever. It had an archive of something like 600 roms on the web. Definitely, one of the main sources for my collection. R.I.P.

VG Kawaii

Another great roms site. It specialized in the ultra-rare, anime and Japanese roms on ALL platforms. Another BIG contributer to my collection. R.I.P.

Badge's Lighthouse

A roms request site. Didn't get that much here, but it was great site. It had many rare roms. Wish I found it earlier. R.I.P.

Norseman's Cybergrounds

THE original roms request site. He has some of the rarest stuff. Been visiting this site since the beginning of my search (about 2 years ago). He's busier now, so the Genesis and NES sections were closed down, but the site and the SNES section is still updated. One of the only great sites that haven't closed down.

Jeremy Koot
"The Teach"

One of the most well-known people in the emu scene. He did the impossible a few years back, when he made SNES96, the first (I think) working SNES emulator. He, along with Gary Henderson and Chad Kitching, followed that up with SNES97 and then SNES9x, one of the best SNES emulators and the most ported emulator to date.

SNES9x Team

When SNES9x was gaining steam, I believe, the big N took action, forcing The Teach to discontinue it. A year later, a new anonymous team took over, almost completely rewriting it, bringing it to the level of greatness it holds today.

John Stiles

The Mac porter of SNES9x. Maintains one of my favorite sites: Emulation.net, an emu site specializing on emulators for Mac.
