Individual Note: After moving to Joliet, Il.in 1888 he became brewmeister at the E. Porter Brewing Company.He was a stockholder in the company and he became superintendant. He was there for fifteen years. In the biographical record of Harry E. Porter, Henry was mentioned. " The work of brewing is in charge of Henry Leser who has had experiences with some of the largest breweries in the country and who has held his present position since 1886." He was superintendant of the Citizen's Brewery for many years after that until 1909.
At his burial Rev. Guido Schuessler officiated.
Undetaker was Herbert & Son in Joliet, IL.
By 1906 he was a U.S. citizen according to a return trip from Germany through Ellis Island.
