Critter
Country is located on the backside of the castle between
WesternLand and FantasyLand and is home to the ever popular
Splash Mountain attraction as well as the Beaver Brother's
Explorer's Canoes. Splash Mountain looks identical to its
California counterpart with one exception- the log canoes seat
side-by-side instead of single file. TDL Splash Mountain
dominates CritterCountry and its theming is everywhere. Grandma
Sara's Kitchen is a restaurant located adjacent to the ride in a
"critter cavern" and benefits from the attraction
similarly to that of the Blue Bayou to the Pirates ride. In fact,
there is outdoor seating in a patio next to a portion of the ride
and you can munch on lunch and watch the logs go by.
