Chapters 26 and 36 of Genesis disagree on the marriages of Esau. Gen. 26 and 28 show spouses 1) Judith, dau. of Be-eri
the Hittite, 2) Basemath, dau. of Elon the Hittite, and 3) Mahalath, dau of Ishmael. However, according to Gen. 36
he had spouses 1) Adah, dau. of Elon the Hittite, 2) Oholibamah, dau. of Anah, son (or dau.) of Zibeon the
Hivite, and 3) Basemath, dau. of Ishmael. This file reflects chapter 36 for no particular reason other than the
fact that it breaks the children out among the wives.(Josephus, Ant. of the Jews Book I chap 18:4) "Now when Esau...was now come to the age of 40 years, he married Adah, the daughter of Helon, and Aholibamah, the daughter of Esebeon;...Without so much as asking the advice of his father"
(Josephus, Ant. of the Jews Book I chap 18:8) "Esau having married already Basemmath, the daughter of Ismael, without his father's consent; for Isaac did not like the Canaanites, so that he disapproved of Esau's former marriages"
