While maintaining its reputation as a service-oriented group, the A.W.W.A. is also a fundraising organization. As an independent non-profit, virtually all of the A.W.W.A.'s funds come from gifts and donations raised throughout the year. These funds are raised largely at events organized and hosted by the A.W.W.A., including the Annual Luncheon/Auction each fall and Cabaret Night in the spring.
