Interfaith couples deserve my supportive professional experience

to celebrate their wedding & marriage.

Since my 1988 ordination & Masters from

the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College,

I have enjoyed celebrating the vision of interfaith couples

in a way that honors their family traditions and shared values.

                       RABBI GREEN REFERS, TOO

Some couples ask me to work with their priest who is enthusiastic but has never co-planned and co-conducted an interfaith wedding. He needs the rabbi’s friendship and trust so that together we can both fulfill our shared commitment to the couple. By the end of the wedding, rabbi and priest have become friends and are in the Rolodex of each other’s lives.

Some a couple asks me for a referral to a priest or pastor or minister.  Couples are happy to find out that I have a wonderful Rolodex of co-clergy colleagues who share my commitment to honor a couple and facilitate a process and wedding ceremony that reflects who they each are as individuals and as a couple.

WHAT RABBI GREEN BELIEVES & DOES

What I like the most about being the rabbi for an interfaith couple is that nothing is taken for granted.  As a rabbi, I celebrate the choice that individuals, couples and families have, regardless of their background, to access Jewish repertoire to make meaningful life choices.   Couples appreciate the creative partnership and friendship we have.

I believe that couples want to make informed choices and that I empower them to do so by providing them user friendly access to the customs and logic and beauty of their wedding options.  Every ritual needs to be understood and personalized.   I believe that over the decades I've learned as much as my couples. I'm particularly proud of the many co-clergy friends I've made over the years: pastors and priests, ministers and clerics.

I believe that every couple truly deserves a momentous, meaningful and uplifting wedding ceremony which garners for them love and respect and support.  Each couple should have a ceremony which continues to enrich and beautify their long and happy life together. Every one in your family and all of your friends need a ceremony that is better than they could have imagined and exactly what their heart needed.

Congratulations on your forthcoming celebration.  Please, contact me so that, together, we can begin this wonderful process of getting to know each other and planning for your remarkable day and happy future. You can contact me through this website or through my listing at www.WeddingWire.com.  Either way, I'll be happy to help you.

                                                                               Sincerely and joyfully yours,

Rabbi Green
