12. The Sequoia has always had a reputation as a difficult century.  In the past few
years it has been the hardest in the area.  Please indicate your preference for level

13. The primary way to reduce the level of difficulty is to avoid going to the Coast. 
This means climbing to Skyline, then returning to Santa Clara/San Mateo Counties and
completing the century on roads that area cyclists routinely ride.  Would you ride the
