Race Timer is an application for efficient and affordable timing of competitive races.

Basic timing:

• Single-component races, including up to 4 concurrently.
  
• Wave offset times are available.
• Multiple-component races, up to 3 components.
• Transition times can be added to the next leg pace.
• Capable for events up to 1000 participants

Individual Results:

• Available as soon as race numbers are entered, usually within 30 minutes.
• Place, time and pace.
• Overall, masters, and custom age groups.
• Exclusion from multiple awards is available.
• Limit results to top few for ease of reading during awards ceremony.

Team results:

• Available for single-component races.
• Eligibility checking for both the team and individual members is available using Race Timer's pre-defined team categories.  Custom categories may also be used.
• Team scoring by members' overall place or gender place.
• Team scoring follows USATF rules.

Data Entry

• Familiar Excel worksheet format.
• Duplicate race number checks.
• Missing data warnings.

Timing:

• Need not start at the gun: use sync time to delay the start of timing and have more time to enter day-of-race registrants.
• Take times with a single keystroke, enter race numbers from a bib tag string after most participants have finished

Race Registrar is a data entry tool for preparing an Excel worksheet database of participant information for Race Timer, or any other application that uses an Excel worksheet database.

• Checks for data errors such as duplicate race numbers and missing data which could affect age group results in a competitive event.
• Synthesizes participant data from multiple workbooks into one.

Race Announcer provides rapid access to participant information so that a race announcer can provide instant name recognition as the participant crosses the finish line.  It uses the same Excel worksheet database as Race Timer, whether created manually or with Race Registrar.
