Winifred Phillips is the actress / producer / musical composer for the RADIO TALES® series. She has composed top-to-bottom musical scores for more than 100 National Public Radio® and Sirius XM Satellite Radio programs. She debuted on NPR® in the Tales From The Other Side sci-fi series in 1992.  She is a four time winner of the American Women in Radio and Television Gracie Award, for Outstanding Actress in a National Network Drama in 1998, and again in 2001 and 2003 for Best National Radio Drama Series.  She has also been honored by the Audio Publishers Association Audie Awards, the NFCB Golden Reel Awards and the International Radio Festivals World's Best Work Award. Winifred is a recipient of the Interactive Achievement Award from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences in the category of "Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition." Her credits in the field of Interactive Media include Electronic Arts' "SimAnimals" videogame, Warner Bros' "Speed Racer" videogame, Dreamworks' "Shrek the Third" game, Sony Pictures' "The Da Vinci Code" game, Tim Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" game and the award-winning "God of War" mythological action-adventure game.


Winnie Waldron is the host / director / executive producer for the RADIO TALES® series.  She has produced NPR® and Sirius XM Satellite Radio dramas for over ten years. Ms. Waldron wrote and produced television musicals before cofounding Generations Productions to select, edit and adapt source material, serve as studio producer for the musical scores, and oversee all aspects of the Radio Tales® production. Her efforts have been rewarded with numerous awards. She has been thrice honored with the AWRT Gracie Award. Her accolades also include recognition by the Audio Publishers Association Audie Awards, the NFCB Golden Reel Awards and the International Radio Festivals World's Best Work Award. Her work as a music producer in the field of Interactive Media has garnered her an Interactive Achievement Award from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.
