All of these photos are 4x6 color
glossy unless otherwise listed in the description. All of these
photos are currently $1.50 each. To order photos use the number
in the "New Photo #" column. I have tried to describe
the photos the best that I can. If you're not sure about a photo
and have a question please feel free to e-mail me. I am now using
photo mailers to send out the prints instead of the First Class
Priority envelopes that I use to get from the post office and
that would cost $3.85 to use. I can now mail up to approximately
20 prints for a flat rate $1.50 to any where within the USA. I
would also recommend that you insure your photos. I have had two
mailers get lost in the mail and they have not shown up and its
now been about three months (as of 10/03) since I mailed them
out. The post office won't do anything because they were not insured.
I will not be responsible for replacing
the prints should they be lost or damaged if they are not insured! Insurance
costs $1.30 for any items valued from $0.01 to $50.00; $2.20 for
items worth $50.01 to $100.00. Insurance is only available to
addresses with in the USA.
If you're in Canada, Australia or New Zealand and are interested
in my photos please contact me and I'll try to see how much of
it will cost to mail them.
All of my photos are made from slides and are labeled on the backside
with the Photographers name, date, and location IF IT IS KNOWN!
The following is now in effect
as of 9/01/2003
If you decide to order some prints
PLEASE be patient! My real job takes up to sixty or so hours of
my time during the week, in fact I have pretty much stopped doing
any train shows. I usually work six days a week and that doesn't
allow much time for me to get photos sent out to be made. I'll
try to keep you informed as to the progress of your order. I also
can no longer do special requests for photos larger then 4x6,
it just takes up too much of my time.
If you are wondering why it takes longer to have 8x10's made as
opposed to doing the 4x6 prints, the reason is that I no longer
actually send the slides out to be printed. I scan them and then
touch them up so that the color is correct and that there are
no dirt specks or other things that you might get if you sent
it out to a conventional processing lab. I then upload them to
a online photo processing lab that does excellent work and returns
the 4x6 prints to me fairly quickly and they blow the doors off
of Kodak and Fuji processing.
I have about 4000 prints available and I scan them when someone
orders them. The good thing is that once I scan them I just save
the file for the next time. Folks who look at the prints have
no idea that they started out as a digital file, its just very
time consuming to touch them up as I don't like dirt or scratches
showing up on my prints and I don't think you do either. This
was one of the problems that I had with Kodak and Fuji. Kodak
was great at cropping the slide wrong and printing it with dirt
specks, Fuji liked to print the slides dark almost every time
so I gave up on both of them. If you need the prints in a hurry
then I'm not the one to contact especially during the winter and
spring months when its the busiest at work.
