Murphy has won a forth place in his futurity class at the national in Georgia
2009 at 10 months old. That pretty much concluded his showing as a youngster. We
wanted to give him a chance to grow up, while we were busy showing other dogs. He is
a very
sweet and laid back boy to live with.
At just over a year he has successfully completed his pre
certification test for ASFA and also has gained his AKC JC. He is a running
machine and loves the lure. On OCT 24 & 25, 2009 he went to his
first ASFA lure coursing trial weekend and promptly won a first place on Sunday in a
very competitive open class and went on to win Best Of Breed.
Well we have been to a few field trials this year and Murphy has done well. On
June 19th, 2010 Murhpy finished his ASFA Fch title. Just a little more then a
month before his 2nd birthday. We will also focus on AKC this year along with
ASFA. Murphy has 5 AKC FCH points so far.
In 2011 we decided to show Murphy in AKC conformation shows and he has done
great. Starting with a bang and a 3rd place in the open class at the national.
After just a few entries he finished in a flash this summer with 4 major wins.
The same weekend he finished he also won the first points toward his GrCh. We
are so proud of our little boy. He will stay home the rest of this year but we
may show him selectively in 2012 along with some more AKC lure coursing.
