June 15. 2009 My whole world is burning today, my baby has left me!
Words can not describe how raw i feel inside.
How does one measure love.... by how many tears one cry's when a loved one
leaves, by how large of a piece of ones heart goes with them or simply by
mustering up the courage to ease their pain one last time, when your heart is
aching and you don't want to let go.
I said goodbye to the love of my life today. She came to me on the "broken road"
of misfortune and heartache and was a replacement for a dog that didn't work out
in the show ring. Little did i know then what a great ride she would take me on.
How i would compare every other whippet to her beauty inside and out and how she
would help me thru hours of desperation and heartache never leaving my side.
She's only been gone a couple hours now and i'm sitting here wondering how a
house with 6 other whippets can be so quiet and feel so empty.
She was known as Int. & Am Ch Ripshin's Unchained Melody, but to us she was
Melody or just short Melos or Pooie. Goodbye my love i miss you so much i cant
hardly breath.
