I spent 24 years driving truck for a living. I got tired of it and wanted a change. I entered Century College at age 49 to become a computer support technician. I landed my first job at a local manufacturer of construction equipment. I suffer a couple of lay-offs and call-backs. They finally let me go. I did some temporary support work for about a year and a half and then landed a job at ESRI. I work in their regional sales office in Eagan, MN. I have been there a year now and enjoy it very much. Looking forward to retirement in 2014!

I have lived my entire life in the Twin Cities [Minnesota]: Minnetonka, Minneapolis, Champlin, Otsego, St. Louis Park, Stillwater, Hugo, Shoreview, and now White Bear Lake.

I am the father of three GREAT children; Kris, Chad, and Tiffany. I have also been the major father figure for two more GREAT children that I still call my step kids; Erich and Becky Dauffenbach. Kris works in the accounting department of a sporting-equipment store in Saint Paul. She and her husband, Chris, made me a grandfather, for the first time, on Father's Day, 2000. Chad is an aerospace engineer for NASA in Houston. He and Michelle Walker of Texas were wed July 19, 2003. They made me a grandfather for the second time giving birth to Andrew Chad Rowe on September 3rd, 2006. Tiffany is a graduate of NDSU's school of architecture and is working for a firm in Seattle, though she is living in Salt Lake City. Erich is a certified airline mechanic, but due to layoffs, he is working as a mechanic for a Ford dealership in New Brighton, MN. Becky is a graduate of Winona State University nursing school. She is currently working for a large day-care facility. I am very proud of all my kids.
