The Beckler River offers quite a few good spots right along the river. It is located just outside of Skykomish, in an area of the Cascades that shows off numerous jagged peaks.
There are several roads nearby which lead to different activities. An abundance of fishing can be found in the river itselt, its destination river the Skykomish or the many lakes that dot the terrain. Everything from spring creek trout fishing to float tubes to salmon and steelhead (during the appropriate season) is in range. There are also some excellent hiking opportunities, sometimes leading to even more remote lakes. At least two quality and challenging mountain bike rides are available, and even more if just biking the fores roads is enjoyable (climbs are not a problem to find).
Beckler River and nearby Tye River are well worth checking out.

Directions to the Beckler River
- Take US2 east from Everett or Monroe.
- Continue until the community of Skykomish.
- Watch for a sign which will point to Forest Service Road 65, a left hand
turn.
- Continue north of FS 65 past the campground.
- Anywhere in the vicinity of the junction with FS roads 6520 and 6530 will be great spots.
- FS roads 6540 and 6550 also contain spots.
