Lake West offers a number
of spots right along the lake. However, it is
hemmed in by swamp or weeds so there is
questionable access. The lake is quiet and out of
the way. Fishing on the Skokomish River and its
south fork is very close. Hood Canal is less than a
half hour away for clams, crabs and oysters as well
as saltwater fishing.
