Welcome to the Little Naches River

These spots were found by accident. While not directly on water (the Middle Fork of the Little Naches is just a short un-trailed hike away from one spot), these spots are desirable for other reasons the chief among them being privacy. Being in rather obscure locations, these spots see little traffic.
Rather close to Mount Rainier National Park, they offer similar recreational opportunities found at the American River and Bumping River. Fife's Ridge and Little Bald Mountain are nearby and are solid mountain bike rides. There are other single track trails and plenty of fire roads directly from the camp. Fife's Peak and the American Ridge Trail present a couple of quality hikes.
These spots lie in the Naches River watershed with the American and Bumping rivers are close at hand. There are streams right out of the campsites but they are small and very overgrown with vegetation. They can be rewarding for those who are patient and willing to do a little experimenting.
One of many south central Cascades camping spots, the Little Naches River offers seclusion and is a gateway to many recreational activitites.
