Welcome to Mt. Adams

Mt. Adams is a volcano in the Cascades near Mt. St. Helens. This spot lies along the Cispus River and is close to serveral lakes. There are numerous hiking trails in the area, many of which are open to moutain bikes. The forest roads offer decent pavement and moderate traffic for road bike riding. There are lots of different routes and that keeps the cycling always fresh. There are plenty of options for fishing as well. The Cispus (plus its North Fork) and Cowlitz rivers are close at hand and provide opportunities to catch salmon and trout. If the rivers are out of shape, the lakes nearby can extend a valid alternative. This site is top notch camping.
