Hogger Falls
Directions: From M-38 in Nisula, take M-38 west 0.9 miles to Newberry Road on the left. Take Newberry south 2.8 miles to the last two-track (which can be a little rough) before the river (Newberry Rd dead ends at the river) Hogger Falls is .5 miles down this two-track but there is no where to park. I ended up backing up and parking and hiking down what looked like an old overgrown road on the right. It's an easy walk and on a calm day you may be able to hear the falls from the road. Notes: West Branch Sturgeon Falls are only .6 miles further down this two-track. |
