Mosquito Falls
Directions: Turn right in Munising where M-28 makes a sharp 90 degree turn, follow H-58 approximitly 14 miles and turn left on Chapel Rd. following it til it ends at the Chapel Falls trail head parking lot.
Notes: Despite its name we didn't get ate up while we visited this falls but then again it was kinda cool out. There is a well marked trail from the chapel falls trailhead and takes at least 30 minutes one way. Check out the massive beaver dam on the way and just think he did it all with his teeth! When we got back to the parking lot we noticed what looked like bear tracks in the sand next to our car but we didn't get to see any (darn it)! |
