Rock River Falls
Directions: From Catham go north on Rock River Road for about 4 miles until you get to 2276. Turn left and follow this two-track road for about 3.5 miles until there is a road that veers sharply off to the left (2293?). Turn here and proceed about another 1/4 mile and park at the turnout on the left. There should be a wilderness trailhead marker. Follow the path (about 35 minutes) to the falls.
Notes:If you like isolated falls then this one's for you. We never seen another soul the whole time we were there. The path to the falls starts out nice for the first half then gets kind of steep and muddy so you might need some good hiking shoes on. The county map shows the road going closer to the falls and there may be a better way to get to this falls. While your in the neighborhood stop in at Silver Bell Falls.
