| Tahquamenon Falls is located about 14 miles west of Paridise Michigan off of M-123. There is a State Park at both the Upper and Lower Falls with camping at the lower falls. A daily or annual pass is required for entry. It is one of the best known and most visited falls in Michigan and is sometimes called "Little Niagra".There is an easy trail back to the falls but there are quite a few stairs to climb for some of the best viewing. The trip from Newberry to Paridise is one of my favorite fall color tour routes with a variety of colors starting about the second week in October. | ![]() |
