Upper Montreal Falls
Directions: From Lac La Belle go east about 2.5 miles until you see a gravel road that goes east when the main road turns south. Follow this dirt road to the Smith Fisheries. Here you can park and walk the extra 3/4 mile or drive being VERY careful of washouts along the cliffs to Lake Superior (its only about a 35 foot drop). Once you reach the end of this road there is a well worn path that follows the Lake Superior shoreline about 1 mile to the Lower Montreal Falls. on logging company property and there are a myriad of logging roads going every
which way and it is very easy to get lost as there are no road signs
