Unnamed Falls
Directions: Turn right in Munising where M-28 makes a sharp 90 degree turn, follow H-58 approximitly 14 miles and turn left on Chapel Rd. following it til it ends at the Chapel Falls trail head parking lot. Follow the left bank of the small creek that goes under the parking area downstream until it meets Chapel Creek. From here go left another 100 yds or so upstream until you see the falls. You should still be within hailing distance of the parking lot.
Notes: I had to climb down the canyon to get some better shots which was not as difficult as it seems from up top. You have to go down near the confluence (how about that for a fancy word?) of the creek and the larger river for the easiest access. I don't think a lot of people know about this falls because there's not much of a trail. But if you follow the creek you can't get lost and if you're in the parking lot for Mosquito or Chapel Falls its worth the look.
