Directions: From Herman, go east on Keranen Rd and take the first fork to the right, which should be Summit Rd. Take Summit south then east 1.0 miles where Summit turns south but Lahti Road continues east. Continue east on Lahti 1 mile. Take the first left past the gravel pit (about 0.1 miles after Lahti turns into a two-track at the intersection of Hakkinen Rd) and follow this road about 1.7 miles and park and hike the two-track to the right (about 300 yds past an old rusty snowplow on the right) 500 yds to the river, then go 150 yds  downstream to the falls.

Notes: There are also some really nice falls ( Upper Silver Falls #1-4) on the Silver River here that are about a mile upsteam from this one. These two-tiered waterfalls are very beautiful and are in a very beatiful spot, so I'm definetly going back there if I'm in the area.
