West Branch Falls
Directions: From Skanee go 5 miles east on Skanee Rd. and turn south onto Black Creek Road, then go 1.9 miles. Turn east here on a two track road and go a short distance until the river is visible and the road turns south. Park, walk to the river and continue upstream. Wade across the river to avoid the steep cliff on the west. Starting from the West Branch Lower Falls, walk on the east side, climb and wade upstream in the canyon. Pass several drops and curves until the waterfall can be seen after rounding a bend with two smaller waterfalls in the foreground. |
