Terraced Falls

   Directions: From Flagg Ranch go west on Grassy Lake Road for 13 miles until you see the cascade creek trailhead. Follow the serene trail for 1.6 miles back to the falls. The trail follows cascade creek until it merges with the Falls River and there are a couple of nice cascades on the way.

Notes: This falls is made up of several terraces -hence the name- the largest being about 45 feet. Usually I will go to extreme lengths to get the best shot possible but not this time. I didn't know that the falls were in a canyon that curved and the best shot required fording the river. Oh well- maybe next time .
