Running Eagle Falls

Water Source:

Two Medicine River

Height:

20 ft

Area:

Two Medicine

Trail:

.3 Mile

Trailhead Location:

1 mi W of Two Medicine visitor's center

Directions: From the Two Medicine Visitor center go west for 1 mile and there will be a parking area on the right.

Notes: This fall is also called Trick Falls because in the spring the top channel flows and obscures the lower part of the fall. While we were there the top fall had dried up leaving only the lower which would be better named 'Hole-in-the-Wall Falls', don't ya think? There is also a sign at the trailhead telling the history of 'Running Eagle' but I forgot what it was all about so you'll just have to go read it for yourself. Note to self: Start taking pictures of the signs.
