This customer requested solid oak and oak plywood, along with larger chip areas. The oak was more difficult to work with, but looks incredibly nice when finished and should be less prone to scratches and dings. I also applied three coats of polyurathane rather than two.
The chip areas were increased about 3/4" to allow for 7 rows of chips to fit. This just required a minor modification to the router jig (as discussed in Table #4 assembly instructions).
