The MIDINATOR, is a USB to MIDI interface that is powered from the USB bus. This device allows USB enabled notebook computers running the Microsoft Windows XP operating system (SP2) to control keyboards and music synthesizers. LEDS indicate the flow of data and USB status. The heart of the system is a programmed MICROCHIP PIC18F2455 microprocessor. The unit can also be used as a USB to RS-232 interface operating at 115,200 bits per second with different firmware.
