The Cause	The Course
According to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), esophageal cancer is the third most common cancer of the digestive tract and the seventh leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. Overall incidence of the disease is highest in men over the age of 50. According to the NCI, incidence of adenocarcinoma of the esophagus, which is associated with Barrett's esophagus, is rising in the United States. This type is more common in Caucasian men over the age of 60.	Grandy Nine Golf Course This course was built on hilly terrain, so you can expect many uneven lies. The greens are fast, and the fairways are narrow.
The Days Events
Players usually start gathering around 8:00 am in the morning and have coffee and pastries while registering to play and meeting your assigned partner and the other players in the foursome for the tournament. Starting hole assignments are also isseud at this time. After which we get together at Springvale campground for a nice lunch provided by The Ray Beaner Memorial Golf Committee and their sponsors. Before we wrap things up we have a presentation of awards and the distribution of door prizes as well as the announcement of our raffle prize winners.
