Memorial Golf Tournament

prevail.

O
Shot-gun start 8:30 AM.
Listen for the starting horn. See tournament director for starting hole
assignment.
O
Two person scramble. The
tournament director will establish player pairings by random draw.
O
Each team must use at least
four drives and four fairway shots from each player. These shots must
be noted on the team scorecard.
O
Each team will receive one
“gimme string.” The gimme string is 18” long and can eliminate the next
shot if your ball is within the strings length of the hole. If your
ball is closer than 18” from the hole and you choose to use the string,
you must cut or mark the amount of string that you used. That section
may not be used again, but the remainder may still be used.
O
The “gimme string” will
also be used as a tie-breaker. If two teams tie, the team with the
longest piece of unused string will win. Each string will be part of
the $35.00 tournament fee.
Prize Holes for Men
and Women.
Hole #3:
Closest to the line from
the drive. Distance does not matter.
Hole #4: Longest drive. Ball must be in the fairway.
Hole #7: Closest to the pin after tee-off.
Hole #8:
Longest putt. Longest
putt determined from position of a teams best ball.
Contests
Second Chance:
Hole #4: If your longest drive attempt wasn't everything you
wanted it to be, spend a dollar and give it another try. 1st two Shots
$5.00, 2nd two shots $10.00,3rd two shots $20.00 (i.e 4 shots=$15.00).
Buy a Drive:
Hole #5: You can choose to hit your tee shot from the Tee Box and/or for
$5.00 per team you can elect to walk your ball to the landing zone and
and drop the ball for your second shot.
Buy a Birdie:
Hole #9: You can choose to hit your tee shot from the Tee Box or for
$5.00 per team you can elect to walk your ball to the green and place it
on the Birdie spot and putt for birdie.
