Dear parents;

 

This week we have read the Story “Boo Hoo”

and the poem “I Like Jam”.

The students have been practicing the activities that they will do while others read in small groups.

We studied the word family “at” and they learned the words: cat, mat, sat, and, flat.

I would also like to remind you that for homework the students need to be read to for 20 minutes each day.  I attached the reading calendar to a previous letter.  I encourage you to use this to keep track of the time you spend reading to your child.

We will have Curriculum Night on September 23 from 7:00 to 8:15.
