Rob's Comments: I'm not sure how this product came about. Counterstrike was hugely popular at the time. I can easily imagine that 3DO would desire to capture some of that market share. What I can't imagine is exactly at what point does someone say, "lets take Might & Magic and make a counterstrike clone!" In any case, the product was roasted alive upon its release and was quickly forgotten. That said, I had a blast with this game. It was rather original for a CS rip off and the graphics were pretty good compared to other games of the genre. I only got about 2 months worth of play our of it. There were never more than a hand full of server available and they were never filled. A good chunk of the players were the developers themselves. After the hand full of hard core players moved on (and the developers got to work on their next project), it wasn't worth hanging around empty servers.
