Billy Faires
Billy Faires is a husband and father of two lovely daughters who has written five best-selling novels, all in his imagination. He is a 1994 graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied poetry writing under his mentor, Michael McFee, and learned many lessons from the Doctors of Greenlaw. He has written weekly columns for The Daily Tar Heel and The Daily Sun in Warner Robins, Ga. A Chattanooga native who stems from a long line of blabber-mouthed writers, Billy is a victim of popular culture (music, movies, books), a former comic book lover, a wannabe rock star, and a pretty darn good masseuse. His newest fascination is the World Series of Poker and Texas Hold 'Em, and in his spare time he tends to speak in the third person. He has never published anything outside of school literary magazines other than on his own web site, and then only because he can't bear rejecting himself.
